Locks, items missing from two men's lockers at Hoboken gym: police
Two lockers were broken into at a Hoboken gym Friday, police said.
A 45-year-old Grand Street said that between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m., several items were removed from his locker at New York Sorts Clubs, 59 Newark St., reports said.
A combination lock he has used to secure the locker, $250 in cash, a $200 wool jacket, two credit cards and a debit card were stolen, reports said.
The victim said a man in the locker room who was about 20 years old, 5'9'', medium build and with short black hair who was wearing baggy pants, a light-colored oversized crew neck sweater saw him put his items in the locker, reports said. This man was also wearing a silver medallion with a blue stone on a thin silver chain and possibly had a tattoo on his right arm with bright yellow and green colors bleeding into each other with a medallion in the center, reports said.
The victim saw this man leaving the locker room with a large backpack after the items from his locker were taken, reports said.
