Holiday sales get early start
Bucky Kalina, store manager at Walmart, said they're offering three sales for Black Friday - the first starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, the second beginning at midnight and more specials will be added at 8 a.m. Friday.
"We're excited. This is the first time we're doing it at midnight," Kalina said. "We'll be here working day and night."
He suggested getting a preview of what's going to be on sale by visiting the store's website, www.walmart.com .
Items going on sale at 10 p.m. Thursday include three game consoles, games, TV sets, decorated Christmas trees and decorations.
Lots more specials are added at midnight and 8 a.m. Friday.
"We're going to have tires on the Friday morning sale," Kalina said. "This is the first time for those."
For shoppers concerned about getting the very lowest price available, Walmart has its price match guarantee. When a customer provides proof of a competing retailer offering an item at a lower price, Walmart will match it or, if a purchase already has been made, give the customer a gift card for the difference.
